The corresponding author is primarily responsible for all communications with the journal and for managing interactions
among co-authors. Before submission, the corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors are listed, the authorship order
is agreed upon, and that all authors are informed of the submission of the manuscript. The authors bear full responsibility
for all aspects of manuscript preparation; significant changes or rewriting are not the responsibility of the editors.
Vita Scientia allows for the designation of up to two shared first authors who have contributed equally to the research and
two co-corresponding authors, provided they have contributed equally to the work or have jointly supervised it. Each author is
required to declare their individual contributions to the article, confirming that all authors have materially participated in
the research and/or manuscript preparation. A statement affirming that all authors have approved the final version of the article
must be included. The corresponding author may suggest independent reviewers, but the journal is not obligated to follow these
recommendations. Authors must respond to all reviewers' comments and incorporate suggested changes where applicable. A detailed
account of the changes made in response to the reviewers' feedback should accompany the revised manuscript. If there is
disagreement with specific suggestions, the authors should provide reasoned arguments supported by data.
The editors reserve the right to refuse publication to authors who consistently disregard reviewers' comments. Revised manuscripts
must be submitted within two months of the editorial decision; otherwise, they will be treated as new submissions. After acceptance,
the proof will be sent to the corresponding author, who must circulate it to all co-authors and manage communications with the
journal on their behalf. The journal will not correct errors post-publication if they arise from discrepancies not addressed in
the proof shown to co-authors. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all content in the proof,
particularly the correct spelling of co-authors' names and the accuracy of affiliations. Proofreading is solely the authors'
responsibility, and significant changes will only be considered with the editor's permission.
Any changes to the authorship list (addition, deletion, or rearrangement) must be made before acceptance and require approval from
the editor. The request must include (a) the rationale for the change and (b) written confirmation from all authors regarding their
agreement. Post-acceptance changes to authorship will be considered only under exceptional circumstances, and publication will be
suspended while the editor evaluates the request. If the manuscript has already been published online, any approved changes will
result in a corrigendum.
Reporting Standards and Data Access and Retention :
Authors must maintain accurate records of data associated with their submitted manuscript and be prepared to provide access to this
data upon reasonable request. Whenever appropriate, authors are encouraged to deposit their data in a suitable repository or storage
location for sharing and further use by others.
Originality and Plagiarism :
Authors must confirm that the work submitted is original and properly acknowledge and cite any content reproduced from other sources.
Written consent must be obtained from copyright holders for reproducing any content (e.g., images, figures) from other sources, and
authors should provide this permission to the editor. All submissions will be checked for originality using plagiarism detection
software.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication :
Authors must confirm that the submitted manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere and, if accepted, will not be published
in the same form in any other language or electronically without the copyright holder’s written consent. Any overlapping content
with previously published or submitted works must be acknowledged and cited, and a copy of related manuscripts must be provided
to the editor.
Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects :
Authors must ensure that studies involving human or animal subjects comply with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines.
Approval must be obtained from the relevant ethics committee when required. Authors should obtain explicit permission from
human subjects and respect their privacy. Personal details of patients must be removed unless written consent is provided.
In reporting experiments involving human subjects, authors should state that the procedures followed ethical standards,
including the Helsinki Declaration. Manuscripts involving animals must indicate adherence to relevant guidelines and ethical
treatment of animals.
Acknowledgement of Sources and Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest :
Authors should disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could be viewed as exerting undue influence during the publication process.
Fundamental Errors in Published Works :
Authors must promptly notify the journal editor if significant errors in their publication are identified and cooperate with the editor to
publish necessary corrections or retractions.
