At Vita Scientia, we uphold the highest standards of scientific integrity through a rigorous double-blind peer review process. This ensures that both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous, promoting objective and unbiased evaluation.
Key Features of Our Peer Review:
We are committed to transparency, fairness, and efficiency in our review process to ensure that high-quality life sciences research is published and disseminated.
Vita Scientia follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to make the final publication decision after considering the reviewers' comments and the authors' responses.
Reviewers must adhere to the ethical principles recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and maintain the highest standards of integrity, impartiality, professionalism, and confidentiality throughout the peer-review process.
Reviewers must not upload confidential manuscripts or any part of the manuscript to publicly available artificial intelligence (AI) tools or services. Any use of AI-assisted tools during the review process must not compromise manuscript confidentiality, reviewer independence, or the integrity of the peer-review process.
Vita Scientia sincerely appreciates the valuable contributions of its reviewers. Reviewer identities remain confidential unless otherwise agreed by both the reviewer and the journal. The journal may acknowledge reviewers annually without linking them to specific manuscripts.
